2019!

It’s 2019! Well I’m over a week late, but whatever. We’re all going to do new things and go visit new places and so on… right?

I was actually going to do a little recap for 2018, but I’m not sure what exactly I did. That’s not to say that I didn’t do lots of things, it’s that I’m not sure which were just from last year and which may have spanned into 2017 or even 2016. However, as I was logging in, I was prompted to use they Keyy app, and I did remember one thing – a couple websites that I manage were starting to really slow down. What I discovered was there were a ton of Keyy entries in the database. I thought the plugin was to blame and removed it. I didn’t find out until a while later, after installing a security plugin that notified me of failed logins, that the sites were getting quite a few failed login attempts a day, which I’m sure is what caused the Keyy plugin to create so many entires. Why those entries didn’t get deleted, I’m not sure, but I don’t use Keyy on those sites so, in a roundabout way, problem “solved” – or close enough.

I actually have a couple new things in 2019 that I’m already excited about, but I’ll save that for later.
